MAY 22 - MAY 25 2008
The Columbia River Gorge is a spectacular river canyon cutting the only sea-level route through the Cascade Mountain Range. It's 80 miles long and up to 4,000 feet deep with the north canyon walls in Washington State and the south canyon walls in Oregon State. Through millenniums of geologic events, breathtaking waterfalls have found their home in the Columbia River Gorge.
Mt. Hood National Forest extends south from the strikingly beautiful Columbia River Gorge across more than sixty miles of forested mountains, lakes and streams to Olallie Scenic Area, a high lake basin under the slopes of Mt. Jefferson. The Forest encompasses some 1,067,043 acres. Most of our photography will be concentrated around low elevation lakes for those perfect reflections.
Fees: $595. Participants are responsible for
their own transportation and lodging in this workshop.
